Time Out Global has come together again to create a list of streets with lots of positive vibes. The winner of the list was Smith Street in Melbourne. Rodrigues Faria Street in Alcântara, Lisbon, ranked ninth.
Those who have never passed the gate at number 103 on Rua Rodrigues de Faria cannot imagine the atmosphere. This gate opens into an entire street where we can find a whole range of original attractions: cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs, shops and showrooms, tattoo studios, bookstores and art galleries. Urban art paints on the walls - until the end of July it still has an ephemeral museum with interventions by artists from all over the world, from Banksy to Bordalo II. All surrounded by walls of post-industrial buildings, serving as a haven for the attractions of the coolest street in Lisbon.
Summer is definitely the most interesting time of the year when we should go to LX Factory while visiting Lisbon. Especially in the summer season, live music concerts, fairs of books and regional products are regularly held there. We will also permanently find there a Brazilian rooftop bar with a beautiful view of the April 25 Bridge, eat the best chocolate cake in Lisbon, drink coffee in one of the most photographed bookstores in Europe and taste delicacies from around the world.
